26 Nosler Long Range Location

Anyone willing to tell me nearest spot to shoot fairly flat out to 1,000 yards. I know ocotillo well, just asking if anyone has preferred spots or safe lanes around Socal, anything Helps!!! Im shooting a Nosler M48 with a Huskemaw Optic 5-30X56LR Scope.

there really is no secret spot to reach long. The desert off 8 and Barstow are the two common areas you can shoot on blm dirt. its a big pain in the butt.

Jamul BLM land is Ok. Have to wheelbarrow/carry in all gear these days. Used to be able to drive in but this is not a bad spot. Pick up brass/shells/trash and you're good to go. Rangers have always been nice there. (Don't shoot over the "road". dirt trail)

Im Shooting Factory Nosler Accubond Long range 129grains currently. 1/2 - 3/4 inch groups at 100 yards. Im going to switch to 140 grain soon and see how that goes

1/2-3/4 with factory ammo is good. If you cooked up a round you could have that thing shooting clovers all day long.
