I am thinking about goin on a gator hunt in TX next year. My father just moved to N Huston 6 months ago and its only a 2 hour drive from his place to the gulf. I found some guided hunts and such around there but I was wondering if anyone else has had some experience gator hunting on the gulf or if anyone has any tips?
Thought about doing so more reserach and taking my boat out there and trying to go without a guide (cheaper). Any thoughts?
