Feinstein can eat it. Senate won't allow assault weapons ban on the floor...

Hey everyone, don't get comfortable with this, the U.S. Senate and the house of reps is far different than the California legislature. We as citizen gun owners in California are in for a storm of laws that will take away our right to own these kind of firearms. keep the pressure on and let your reps know how you feel. Its gonna get ugly when they go to session...

Snake Charmer has it right, .the anti-gunners here in CA have a huge majority and can enact state laws and if youve been paying attention some of those laws are far more restrictive than any of the federal laws they are trying to pass. The two that are really scary are Leland Yee's SB47 (Ban and forced registration of firearms) and Darrel Steinberg's SB 374 (Ban and forced registration of all semi-automatic rifles (including rim fire). And while the Assault Weapons ban is no longer attached to the current Fed legislation they will still vote on other Federal laws which will effect us all. Not to mention that they did leave the Assault Weapons ban open to a vote as an amendment just not part of the main package.
