Cub Scout fundraiser

My son’s Cub Scout Pack is fundraising by selling popcorn from Trail’s End. The money is used by the Scouts, Pack, and local Council to go on adventures, maintain camp and range facilities (like those at Mataguay Scout Ranch) and help the Cubs learn outdoor skills, good citizenship, and conservation.

Our Pack makes an effort to include Council BB-gun and archery range days on our calendar and for many families, this can be their first opportunity to experience shooting.

One of our local troops was selling popcorn at Turners in Palm Desert a few weeks ago went there for a fishing seminar. Ask the kids which one was the best they all recommended the Carmel popcorn so picked up a bag it was a bit sweet but overall not bad.

I was in palm desert last week for work and if they were out in that 112 degree heat, props to them. It was brutal!
