Been hitting a cut Sudan field since the opener and it's been pretty good.......with enough hunters spread out covering the field it's a great shoot before you can shoot pheasants. Nothing like a hawk hunting the field with you pushing over a hundred birds every swoop.
The best statement this year has come from a 14yr old when this happened all morning. As one big flight 30yds wide 50yrds deep full of dove came right at all three of us in this little tree funnel he yells "they all want to die".....his Dad and myself laughed so hard neither of us killed one but sure as shit the kid knocked one down.
