If you put a lot of gravity in these factors, they will all hit us for the opener.27th, 28th, are the lead up to the full moon ( 31st)suppose to be as high as 91 deg. on Saturday.
Winds to be 18 - 24 mph...
(Let me know if you have heard any differently)
my understanding is the deer don't move as much during the full moon, but move more on the downslope of the full moon.
Heat keeps them moving only at night
winds make them skiddish.

Does this change how, where, or when you hunt?

Its been discussed a little under this topic. Not sure where you're hunting by I just check accuweather for mine and its calling for low 70's as the high for the day and breezy.

I'll tell you one thing, regardess of weather, I'll be out there. You can't kill anything watching the Charger game....

Last year I killed my second archery buck and it was windy as heck!

The 14th, on Mt. Laguna, the wind was blowing pretty steadily above 15 mph with gusts to 30mph ALL DAY. it was coming out of the NW so i started stalking along all ridge lines with steep south facing slopes and the deer were tucked into every blow down on the hillside. Saw some really big does but never managed to get a shot off. Didn't get winded. I'll be setting up on the deer trails leading in and out of these areas. Looks like we'll have 78 degree high and 43 low with 7-10mph winds that day. Also found 2 scrapes and a fresh rub on the ridgeline above the bedding areas. Should be a great weekend in the woods! Good luck!
