I want to start by saying i usually do not recognize or celebrate holidays made up by the word system or " hallmark Holidays" However i want to take a few minutes to say thank you to all the amazing mothers out there. If we have any on the site Thank you for working 20hr days, 7 days a week to raise us and to raise our children. With out getting in to it my mother left much to be desired.
However my grandmothers and my wife are amazing. My wife has puts up with stinky gun cleaning at the kitchen table. She hunts by my side and teaches all 3 of our children to hunt and be safe and to love animals and nature. My wife raised 4 kids of her own and is helping to raise 9 grand children as well as my 3 kids. She stands by me and together we are co pastors of a small and growing church. She still finds time to get everything done in a day. our wives and mothers get up early and work all day, they work late to. it is a 7 day a week job and i think that sometimes we do not see it enough. I know we all get into a rut all year but really think about what or mothers do, what our wives to to raise kids. If you had a mother like me im truly sorry. I hope you had other mother figures in your life, but remember its never too late to thank the ones that are here today in your life helping in ways we can not see every day.
