help with beach location??

I need some help guys, I am looking for a beach that's family friendly, we can set up a day camp and do some surf fishing, everyone I've called does not allow fishing so far. Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks guys!

In SD there are a few marine protection areas where surf fishing isn't allowed, particularly the La Jolla area which stretches from the Cove to part of Black's Beach, and the Swami's MLPA in Encinitas. The most popular (and productive) surf fishing areas are Torrey Pines, Blacks Beach north, and Carlsbad, which all happen to be great areas to set up the family for the day. TP and Carlsbad are state beaches though, so parking fees apply (unless you find off street parking and hike), and Blacks is tough access. Google search the MLPAs to make sure you're fishing in a legal zone.

The perch have been hitting too lately on the Gulp camo worms and sandcrabs. Corbina are around too but haven't had sucess.
