I am a big fan of the auto generated emails to congresspeople. While I know Pelosi et al wont even read my email, they DO get counted and tallied up...phone calls also...Many political scientists ascribe a 1:10 ratio for calls and emails, for every 1 received, 10 feel the same way but do not call/email.
