Not hunting it, nor have I ever, but I have had friends there in the past find everything from deer to bobcats. Lots of area, but seems they have to close huge sections of it every hunting season thanks to wild fires. Good luck!
Because of the diversity of terrain, elevation change, size of area and geographic orientation, it is probably the best terrain in so cal to hunt. (you won't cover it in a weekend !)
