more birds i almost never see

this is by far the strangest season duck hunting i have ever had. Its 100% the year of the cinnamon teal and no i did not get a band this weekend but i tell ya i did look real close. Anyways here is another pic of a pair you do not see to much of around my parts.

A drake and hen Buffelhead, very nice. I’ve shot lots of them but only in salt water bays. They’d make a nice mount together.

Really hard to pass on drake buffies, they just look so bitchin flying and hanging.
On a side note, i had two buddies on two different weekends shoots banded drake cinnys from the same blind this season. both going to the taxi.
Yeah it's bitter sweet but it's got to end sometime, and i'm glade it did.

Don't hate me but the extended season runs for 4 more weekends next weekend is the screw the kids hunt where we hunt and the kids dont
