Moving to Thousand Oaks, want to hunt

Grew up in SoCal, learned to hunt while at school in Indiana. now that I'm all graduated, its time to move home and i want to bring hunting with me. I hunted pheasant in Indiana, and would like to try my hand at quail, turkey, and duck, but I have no idea where to start when I get home. I hope to learn from some of the members of this forum, and move up from being a very novice hunter.
