Newbie bear hunter needs some good spots

I'm looking for any advice/locations to hunt bear in the San Bernadino National Forest (closest location). I've done alot of hiking/backpacking from the Forst Falls trailhead in Mill Creek/Canyon. Any bear action in that area??
