Wow, what a change since I was a resident of CA. Maybe news to others on this site, but non residents of California are obtaining state wide concealed carry permits and they don’t even need to supply a reason for applying.
Just finished my enhanced concealed carry class here in Idaho with a secondary reason to gain eligibility to obtain an Oregon concealed carry permit given I hunt and fish hells canyon on the OR side as well. Long story short, is that our Idaho CCW instructor received his non resident CA CCW a few weeks ago. Said it was quite easy and anyone can obtain now. And he chose a CA county to apply that didn’t require a psychological exam. Heck, even as a SoCal resident, I never applied for a CCW as it seemed almost impossible.
Given I travel to CA a couple times each year, going to pursue.
Are you residents now able to easily obtain CCWs in your state of CA?
