Recommended tree stands and ground blinds?

Years ago I watched a doe from 80-100 yards. I did a test.
I snapped a tiny twig. Lol
She looked right at me..
I didn't move but I could tell she was nervous and alerted. Lol.
Off she went..
Think about that when walking.

The place I go, there is no way you can stalk up on anything. Not to within bow distances anyway. The ground is littered dry grasses, with dry crunchy "potato chips" (dried up scrub oak leaves). You hear things coming long before you see 'em. Part of why they like the gullies soo much I think. Helps to hold-in the sound when they travel and there is less grasses and leaves inside the gullie. Also it keeps them below the sight-plane of most things that are not in the gullie with them.

Ya that's what's nice about tree stands.
Clear a path
Sit and wait game.
It works.

And yeah... definitely on a prior trip or two... spend a few moments at your sit spot. And look around at the openings between trees and brush. Decide which ones could use a little trimming and clearing. Also at the Archery Range, practice shooting while sitting, just like you would be out there. From Tripod stool... from one knee on the ground, etc.

Sat in a tree stand for the first half of the season last year. Sat on the ground second half of the season. No more tree stands for me.....
