Where do you think they will come down on this issue? Beings Roberts is a RINO and Kavanaugh is a big pussy, open carry won't stand a chance in hell.

No telling which way this court goes. Nobody seems to always go the way you’d think they would anymore.

Might catch hell for this opinion but open carry is stupid, imo. Go ahead and concealed carry all day. Pass a class and prove you're competent with a weapon and go wherever you want. I think classes should be free for anyone that purchases a weapon for this purpose too.

Again, just my opinion. Popular or not.

My only concern on the subject of open carry is a negative vote would just be one more step in the wrong direction and one more win for the anti group. We can not afford to lose any battles for our 2nd amendment rights, no matter our personal feeling on any one given subject. I do not own any so called AR weapons but, I would never favor a vote to ban them.

I wonder if this applies to other constitutionally guaranteed rights?
Should we have to pass a literacy class/test before publishing (a lot of stupid ideas out there) or voting or serve on a jury [the list goes on...]?

Who is going to pay for that "free" class and why should they be subject to pay for the training of others?

Where in the 2nd Amendment does it talk about passing a class?

Here we go, lol.

Nowhere does it say you need to pass a class in order to carry a weapon. I'm of the feeling that the more knowledge people have, the better. We take a class in order to hunt. We take classes in order to drive. We take classes for MANY things in life... in order to have more knowledge on a subject, more confidence in the subject, for better safety, etc.

I would be more than happy and open to taking a portion of the taxes I currently pay in the state of California that are grossly misused and putting them towards safety classes for those that are applying for a concealed carry permit. I don't want more taxes, I just want them going to what I want, lol.

I stand corrected, It is conceal carry coming up for review. Not that it really matters, It's a fine line.

Perfectly fine opinion, I think it depends where I am. I see no problem open carrying in a rural area, but in NYC I think concealed is the only way to go.

Hopefully this case goes the right way, but expect the usual hacks to start an intimidation campaign
