I have seen more snakes this year than I have seen in a long time.In the last month I have killed three Rattlers around my house,yesterday there was a four foot Kingsnake in my yard and today there was a three and a half foot long Gophersnake in my yard.I don't mind the later two being around just shows that the snakes are going to be very active this year.
Went for a hike last weekend and there must have been twenty to thirty snake tracks across the trail.When I got to the top of the trail my plan was to walk out onto the ridge and do some glassing.After seeing all those snake tracks I changed my mind and stayed on the open path.Guess I got a little spooked.
