dude where you at?

make ya feel better i had a epic fail... so my new rig is the first gun i have had with exposed turrets on it. So i had a dog at 150 yards sitting chilling out. I take my time get a good rest. super calm and squeeze it off. Wham Nothing and the grounds got green grass on it so no dust... WTF I missed. So i chase him with the scope and let another fly this one is way left! CRAP. so i let the rest of the clip fly as he runs away. nothing even in the ball park.......

Note to self check both turrets to make sure they did not move. Turns out the windage that is not zero stopped rotated to about 1.5mil. Turns out that makes you miss bad. Bet i check them from now on :p

Haha I've been filming some some airgun hunts... Might go out tomorrow. I haven't been out in a long while!

Did something similar a couple of years ago with the CDS dial on my scope. Had a deer walk up @100 yards and stop. Had the gun on the bi pod cross hairs perfect pull the trigger and the deer is just standing there. I'm thinking what the &%$#. Chamber another round pull the trigger and the front of the deer goes down and he takes off with its chin on the ground running. Grab my buddies 9mm and take off chasing this buck and finally got it stopped. He had both front legs broke off from the second shot just above the knees.
Turns out my dial was off one complete turn.
