UFC 158!!!!!

Did any one of you guys tune in to UFC 158, GSP vs Nick Diaz?

Dam good card guys,

GSP mopped the canvas with diaz! That fight was for the welter weight title. We seen 5 rnds Of GSP beating Diaz down in the pocket and dumping him at will for the first three rnds.

I personally think Condit did enough from the bottom while Hindricks took him down at will threw out the fight to win, but hey I was stoked for both of them.... They both left it all out there.

Nate and Ellenberger , that fight was stand up war that seen Nate get finished in the first.

There were many other fights last night that were dam good but the last three included the champ (170 lbs) and the top 5 guys at 170 minus Rory McDonald.


I just thought I put this post up , there's got to be a few MMA fan's besides NBK.

Watched it. GSP was boring as usual. Diaz has mad jujitsu skills but was just bullied by JSP. And again, as usual GSP took the fight to the judges. Hardly a championship performance.

The Natural Born Killer (Condit) was robbed. He is another guy with amazing ground skills. NBK won the fight but Johnny was able to steal the fight through poor judging. Never allow it to go to the judges - you never know what they are thinking (or smoking). Johnny has only one skill...a big punch. He is going to get smoked by GSP in the next fight. Maybe GSP can finally finish one! ??? ???

The rest of the matches were entertaining to say the least. And my mother-in-laws hors d'oeuvres were off the chain good!

Johny Hendricks will be the next champ. Agreed NBK I want a champ that finishes. Calos is good but I don't like his camp to Careful when Greg Jackson in the corner they seem to play it to safe then just going for the kill

Johnny doesn't have the skills to compete at the next level. He could possible get lucky dropping a bomb, but that is all he has. He has no ground skills and he has a small gas tank to boot! Johnny will need to win by the second round or its over.

Ain't gonna' happen SD!

Well it was a good fight night but if you ask me, watching GSP fight is like watching paint dry. For a guy who looks like he was bred to fight, he doesn't seem to do a lot of fighting. It's frustrating! It's a waste of muscle! I was hoping for a little more action for the main event.

The other fights were much better, specifically the Condit fight. Those guys were scrappy!

For those of you who watch the Ultimate Fighter show, I am really looking forward to Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen's fight. Sonnen has been a great coach in my opinion so it will be interesting to see how he does.

Agreed, but we are talking about UFC - which is a completely different sport than boxing. The attraction to UFC is because it is an honest sport, champions usually don't stay champions long and the fighters are almost always educated. Different breed of individuals. It is a multi-discipline sport not one dimensional...
