Veterans Day

I know Veterans Day was yesterday but I was talking to my daughter about why she doesn't have school today. Just wanted to say thanks to all you veterans on the site who sacrificed a little OR a lot for this beautiful country!

I did 6 years in the Navy, but I feel my service pales in comparison to what some of these guys are going through right now.
I continually hear stories about PTSD, and what these guys are leaving behind, including parts.

They do have some great benefits, including GI bills, retirement, and much better pay than we saw.

Its just a tough time right now.


I don't regret serving, it was the best thing for me as a misguided teen.
