Where i hunt i can only see about 150 yards. Would the Vortex 10x26 work?

The magnification is the same as any 10 power bino, the light gathering ability is less due to the smaller objective lens. At first and last light you won’t be able to see as well as a 10X bino with a larger objective lens.

I have the 8x28 Vortex Diamondback compact. They are very easy to handhold, and have long eye relief, like 19mm.

But.. It's light-gathering ability is basically the same as your eye. If you can't see in there, it can't see in there. So I only use them for leisure non-hunting activities.

28mm divided by 8 power = 3.5mm effective exit pupil. The human eye can go open to 5mm (when you're young, diminishes with age).

To help with last-light glassing, you want the largest effective exit pupil you can get (or afford to bring with you in weight).

So for example... if you had an 8 x 56mm... you'd have 56mm divided by 8 power = 7mm exit pupil! That's more light that your eye can even take in! Therefore this particular power / lense combo would provide the greatest help at allowing you to see for a little bit longer than your eyes will naturally allow.

But when you step up to 56's the weight goes up.

When hunting in thick, where I know I can't glass long distances at all anyway, I like the 8x42's. They're easier to rapidly acquire your target with the FOV, because the FOV is wider. So you see more of the landmarks in the FOV that you made sure to make note of before raising your glass to your eyes. And they are a noticeable bit easier to handhold when you're tired and fatigued or huffin' and puffin' along the trail, but think you saw something and want to pause for a second to confirm.

But if your destination is way more wide-open and desert rolling hills, you definitely want the 15x56's! They are bleepin' Awesome!

Unless you have very good quality glass, objective lense and eye piece.
High power is use less. It will be to fuzzy. Blurred.
Here is a nice read about telescope and why they don't like to use power. The better the quality of the objective lense and eye piece the better viewing of small objects.
Here it is

I have 3 sets of binos.
8x , 10x, 16x
I use the 8x for bow hunting.
But
The bigger objective lense the better
Light gathering. To see faint object in no light or low light.
The eye piece will dictate the power
With the formula with my earlier post with the link.
