    23-24 Waterfowl Season Pics

Well this was a weird season. I struggled at times and at other times it came easy. I hunted just about every Wednesday and Saturday in January. I haven't done that in years. My shooting ranged from great to terrible. I haven't posted pics in awhile so I thought I'd drop some in here...

    Anyone recognize these?

Was going through my ammo today and came across these two boxes that look pretty old. A 28 gauge had some original paper shells. The 12 gauge had some paper shells that I think are reloads. Looks like they were bought at White Front??? for $1.80. Pretty sure I got these from my Grandpa.

    Dove Hunt weekend #2

Went to Westmoreland area to hunt a little and do a little work at the club. Hunting was almost as good as opening weekend. Still lots of birds where I was at. Weather was a bit hot though. Drove home today and hit some rain and dust storm. Anyone else out this weekend, how'd you do?

    San Jac disabled blind question

What's up all. Quick question here. My dad finally got drawn for a disabled blind at the Jac. First time. Does anyone know how many hunters can hunt the blind? Are 3 hunters allowed? If so, is there enough room for 3 shooters? Thanks in advance Ron

    ADA Blind advice

Okay got a question I applied for some Ada blinds for my dad so I can get him back out there again. He can't walk well at all so I literally have to drive to the blind and drop him off in order for him to be able to hunt. So my dilemma is he drew a number one for Kern and number three for...

    Great Duckin

Today was a great day for me. Hunted solo in and unfamiliar blind but in a familiar area. My decoy bag was just a mixture of different birds. A few of each. I wasn't happy when I realized the decoys I had to work with. My main decoys were elsewhere so I grabbed this leftover bag. I put the...

    Reservation question.

I never get reservations so I can't remember the answer to this question. When they start to call out reservations at Wis, Jac or Kern, do they start with Handicap reservations first? That way if there are open handicap spots the regular reservation holder can take if they have a handicap...

    Spoonies!

I love to eat duck. I have had some terrible duck and some great duck. After many years of trying different ways to cook duck I have come to the conclusion that marinades and soaking in milk or water or whatever is a not so much as important as the fact that you can NOT over cook this bird...
