The weather is gorgeous right now. We broke out the spotting scopes and already we have seen 7 elk from the porch of the above accommodations. Should be a fun week. 55 Thousand acres of freedom, some amazing food cooked by the SCH killing team and great company. Wow - I forgot what heaven was like.

Hell Ya' Becky. This is flat out fun! SCH team is in full fun mode! Tomorrow morning we start tipping over elk.

Good luck guys. I know it looks like fun, but without a single pic of a hunter drinking a Coors Light I don't know how it could be. Hope you guys do as well as you did last year. ;D
Ahhh, those pictures make me homesick! looks just about like it plays out in my dreams and memories. Open country rising into snow dusted peaks of pinon and juniper, 4x4 vehicles of all sorts, the smell of gun powder, and laughs with old friends. Drink it up, its paradise, Pura Vida!
Saw 11 cows(our tags) and 7 bulls today but they were all really high in super rough country. Hunted all day till the sun went down. Hope to find some that are a little more accessible tomorrow.
