Currently at work I have a pic of my old girl Rona and a Buddies dog Boomer. Both are no longer with us RIP guys! I change to a lot of scenery pics from hunt trips reminding me of places I would rather be... What's on your's?

Sweet picture I've heard rumors of em on Camp Pendleton but never seen pictures of em. It's cool to know that theres buffalo in San Diego even if you can't hunt em. I've only seen 3 buffalo in my life all in one day a few years at a Boy Scout camp on Catalina island there awesome animals. I had one within 20 feet of me when I woke up one morning not what you expect to see first thing lol.

There is about 150 of them on the base and they are left alone. They do get in the way of the Marines now and then but they are left alone and protected by the base game wardens.

The ones at the Island do what they want. I remember once riding along in a car out by the stagecoach station and my buddy says we gotta go sit on the hood. I said, 'for what'?. He grinned and got out. About a quarter mile down I found out. Four cows with calves walking across the road. We stop the car and they proceed across.

Then the old man comes out with exactly that look. When I went to walk closer my buddy starts laughing. Then the head dips down farther and the old man lets loose a snort. 3000 lbs of critter the size of a 40's De Soto can communicate alot with a gesture.
