I have to say, I don't know enough about the 6.5 to make a call on that one but, the 300 win. mag . no problem. I learned a long time ago, shot placement is what it's all about. So based on that alone the 6.5 should do it.

But honestly I would steer towards either Tika's or Remington clones. The aftermarket support is way better and both offer prefit barrels for the future

Those rifles have incredible spec's

Tikka chambered in 300 PRC if they offer it. Tikkas have proven to be extremely accurate

Springfield definitely payed attention to the aftermarket and competition world with the waypoint. They did all the upgrades everyone is after right from the factory. At least manufacturers are moving in the right direction

The real trick would be getting ammo for either caliber. Lots of cool looking paper weights being sold these days.
