Yeah he’s one of the reasons I have all these decoys and blinds and duck club memberships and a bank account that is constantly flirting with the red. So glad he did!
Happy Thanksgiving to you, Steve. Finally got to hunt with both my boys at the same time this year. Had a hell of a lot of fun. They even called in a nice old rosi from about 500 yds up I could barely see it at first.
Only Federal refuges are affected. From what I’ve read if there is a gate that needs someone to open it then it’s closed. Wister and San Jac are state run. I think Union is fed but no geese for a couple more weeks anyway.
I checked a couple spots nowhere near the bridge that were at last year. There’s still birds there, but they’re not as many as they were two weeks ago.
