My pops and I went out to Colorado in October for the 2nd mule deer season. Had a blast and shot my first mule deer. Not a monster but I was really happy with him. It was my dads first time ever seeing snow and being in weather colder than 50degrees

Hunted Blythe on the opener. Several of us had limits by 730am. Most birds I seen in a few years not as crowded either. My son had his best dove hunt so far with 9 birds with his .410. He had to work hard for them In The heat but it was a great trip.

It’s crazy because on Maui you can shoot a monster buck in someone’s back yard or right around the neighborhoods but getting out and being in an area where no one is around and it’s so peaceful really and hunting the deer that do not see peaople very often or at all felt really good and meant a lot.

yes it was hard work and very heavy pack especially because I carried half of my dads deer because I didn’t want him to struggle to bad on the way out. But it was all worth it in the end.

My dad and I Got the invite to hunt some private land on Maui. So we pulled the trigger and did a strike mission to go hunt some bucks. Met my dad on Maui Thursday night. He flew from Kauai and I flew out from ca. I hunted a smaller property Friday and got lucky with a decent buck Friday...

I can help if you want to try it out. I am applying for the mouflon sheep hunt in the next week over there. We seen some really nice rams during the axis deer season. There was a couple guys from sch that signed up with me this deer season but they couldn’t make it. It’s a fun hunt.

It is a really cool hunt. Hunting along the cliffs overlooking the ocean sunny with some rain and rainbows. The town you stay at is close to the hunting area. You can go to the beach and take a dip in the ocean mid day in between the morning and evening hunt. It’s a great experience.

2025 Lanai,Hi Axis deer hunt was a success. Had a great hunt with my Dad and a couple friends. Hunted hard passed on a lot of does and small bucks the first day and the second day I did a big push looking for a decent buck did 10 hard miles. Left the truck at 5 am and walked and glasses all day...
