    Starting Small

What particular method did you use for this kill? Spot and stalk etc. What time of day was it? Is this your first animal? Sorry for all the questions but I am itching to learn as much as I can. Jeremy

    Starting Small

Nice job! Hopefully I am not too far behind you. lol. I just started hunting not too long ago and am also starting with small game. I use a longbow so it might take me longer to finally reach my success. Anyway nice hit and have fun!

Very cool!! I am 34 has well got my first hunting license a few months back. I have only just recently gone hunting for rabbits with no success yet. What type of game are you wanting to hunt? Ever considered archery hunting? I am personally strictly a longbow hunter. What part of San Diego...

    Brand new to Turkey hunting

I am brand new to hunting. I went on my first 2 hunts for rabbit several weeks ago. I have heard that Turkey is very difficult especially with a bow and traditional longbow at that! Anyway I wanted to see if I could get some advice on things such as clothing plaid, gillie suite, ground blind...

    Rabbit?

Hi Nick! I use blunt points and also field tips with little washers behind them. I guess that is pretty standard. I wonder if flu flus would be appropriate for shots under 25 yards? Take it easy. Jeremy

    Rabbit?

Thanks guys! Are there any particular tactics, methods that work better than others? I have done a little reading. I hear "kicking them up" is a tactic many bow hunters use. I will also be paying more attention to seeking out food sources. Jeremy

    Rabbit?

I just went on my first hunt ever yesterday. I shoot a longbow. I did not see any rabbits at all? Am I too late in the season for rabbits? What about Quail? I see this type of small game everywhere around my home, well at least the rabbits. The minute I go into the true wildlife areas I...

    Bow hunter from Oceanside

Well I will never get the performance of a compound or even a modern reflex-deflex longbow. I have yet to shoot through a chrono, also getting some 80# spine arrows made as week speak. I will tell you this Craig at Howard Hill archery states that this bow shoots a 115 fps. plus the draw weight...
