I hunted the opener last year. Fortunately to limit out in a few minutes but didnt hear a shot after the first 90 minutes while packing up and heading out.

My 9yo, Jake, pulled this res for youth Saturday. We hunt SJ a lot and have done youth day at Wister which is a lot of fun thanks to the Vega's. We have never been to Kern but the boy wants to go. Unfortunately he has Friday night lights football or we would take the day off school to go...

Got the last blind (not counting Mystic) at SJ in the sweatline. Done by 8am and rushed to Jacobs little league game. Mostly cinnamons with a bonus green head. Hope everyone else got lucky as well. Sounded like the place shot well for the first hour.
