Went out this morning with a buddy to Wister. Smacked several Teal, couple Gadwall, and a spoony. We had to start packing up by 10 for Christmas eve festivities so we ended up 1 short of us both having a limit (I got mine). We definitely could have sealed the deal had we stayed another 30...
Planning to shoot the muzzloader opener in VA next year. Im planning on getting the
CVA Accura LR-X in 45. There are better ones out there but dont want to spend thousands on a rifle that I am going to shoot inside 100 yards once a year
Not an eventful trip this year. Dropped a small doe the first morning with my rifle. Everything else the rest of the trip was to small or out of shotgun range. The rut just ended so the bucks are nocturnal right now. At least I am coming home with some meat. We sat in the rain, sun, tree stands...
Just bought a new house this summer and it's time to set up the new reloading room. I finished hanging the cabinets today. Just need to do some of the trim work on them and start loading the bench with everything. Here is the progress so far.
