Im planning on scouting mostly for turkeys , looking to roost some ideally. But that's obviously just a morning thing so ill have the rest of the days to learn /scout the land. The first couple days im planning on scouting for muleys but the last day id like to get some cottons if possible.

Whats going on fellas, Im planning on heading up to SB on a weekend scouting trip, read a recent article in western outdoors that said they had solid numbers of cotton tails and jacks running around up there. Just wondering if its worth bringing the shotgun and a couple hand fulls of shells...

Also looking to get a slate or box call, which would u recommend? I know diaphragm has the most versatility but i also know we cant be in the Turkey woods with only one call..
