Thanks guys, I love eating quail and I’m usually feeling pretty good about myself when I knock down 1 or 2 but they are more of an appetizer than a meal. Needless to say 5 is a pretty good day for a run and gun quail hunt, i was lovin it.

Thanks guys, I’ve got a couple hits so far but I’m still looking. I lost a rangefinder a couple of years ago and it really threw a wrench in my season, if I can spare someone the same headache I will. These things aren’t cheap.

Wow looks like a great hunt, unreal country. I’ve been thinking about a couse hunt for a couple of years now. This may make me pull the trigger on a trip next winter!

Burn some boot leather and get a couple miles away from a road. Find water sources and your in the money. Binos are a must, a tripod was a great suggestion. Good luck!

What a stud, That’s a sleek looking buck. I lived right on the border of mission trails for a few years and would glass the hills in the evenings, it’s always fun to see deer in your backyard.
