Ive been looking into bear hunting for next year and Im looking for some advice. I'm told that the closest area is d14 but any advice on other zones that are not more than a 5 hour drive would be appreciated

I believe it is legal to walk through the rec area with a rifle

The birds were coming in perfectly so I figured I would wait them out for a nice easy shot but now I wish I would have shot earlier

They don't get a lot of archery hunters that's why I hunt there. Rifle is a nightmare but I really don't see a lot of people early season. I've just heard that the lagunas can get alot of hunters and hikers.

Im curiouse about trying the lagunas this year. I have two archery tags and I hunt a lot of boulder and eagle peak. I would like to get some new scenery this year but I hear it gets packed up there. So any info is appreciated. Is it worth trying or not. I do like that it's archery only zone
