Skunked again, they were not wanting to play in the rain. A Few gobbles but were not getting any closer. Had to bump a hen off my truck to leave though.

If i heard correct they were making the swap, pulling the veterans hunt days to make more youth hunt days but needed to take away the falconry only days to do it.

They are Danners, another tarrif free item. Love them in the spring and early summer. To many close encounters, i dont stay on trail very well and sniff around all the trees like a dog, started bumping way to many of them. Snakes only going to get worse in the coming weeks.

You can go out the evening before to roost them. If there is another hunt the day before you have to wait for their hunt time to end, 4:30ish I think, before you can get on to scout. DFG personel will be at/near the entrance while hunters are atill out. These draws are a good experience, all...
