I got my cameras out this AM and wanted to share my approach to scouting gear and see what you guys use for public land scouting. My whole setup is 16lbs, weight is distributed so its not all on my back, and keeps my hands free for the most part. Can just stop and hang a camera, check ranges...

Practicing identifying game birds inflight and calls they make. If you can find the ones around the house, you will be able to find them in the field.

I have them on Camera visiting every 4 hours but then they will not show back up at that waterhole for 3-4 days. Works every time 60% of the time.

IV is a cool place, man eater sized jack rabbits out there. Whole place really starts slithering around 10am.
