Which firearm(s) do you regret selling?

I’ve had hundreds of guns in my lifetime but two I most regret selling are my Colt Python 357 mag and an old Winchester model 12. 16 gauge. The model 12 was light, fast, deadly for upland birds. The Python was a once in a lifetime gun. I was obviously going through a period of stupid when I...

    Mount Laguna Problem

I just did something really stupid, I read this entire thread. I knew after the original post I should stop. Now I have a splitting headache. After reading the entire F’ing thing I really needed a drink. I opened a bottle of Buffalo Trace Kentucky Bourbon and am about half way through it and I...

    Raw meat for puppy

The problem you describe may be serious. Feeding him raw meat may do more harm. You need to take him to a vet. Especially a puppy has special dietary needs to grow to be a healthy dog. GET HIM TO A VET!

more birds i almost never see

A drake and hen Buffelhead, very nice. I’ve shot lots of them but only in salt water bays. They’d make a nice mount together.

    New upland hunter and pup

She is one damn cute pup! As others have said take it slow and make everything fun for her. I don’t know about Bernese mountain dog but poodles can be excellent hunting dogs and retrievers. I use to hunt upland with a guy who had a poodle. I have to admit his poodle was as good a flusher and...

    Duck Dog

Very nice. He retrieved that duck like he’s been doing it for years. Before I became a lab guy I had German Shepherds. They are some of the smartest dogs on earth. Keep working with him in the off season and he’ll be a superstar.

Take them with me or buy new

Look into getting a moving pod to ship all the stuff you can’t fit into your container. They deliver any size you want To your house. You load it up and they deliver it to your new address. Easy peasy.

    Today’s limit

I live in Elk Grove, not that far from Amador. But the next couple weeks my plate is full, my calendar is crazy. I’m retired but don’t seem to have time to do much of anything lately. Thanks for the offer.

    Today’s limit

I’ve fished just about every reservoir in N. Cal but I’ve never fished Amador. I’m ready.

    Old school from the 80’s & 90’s

Very cool. I’m still old school and mostly depend on maps and old fashioned scouting and walking the woods. Actually I just mostly hunt the same places I’ve hunted for decades.

    Censorship on the web

First an excerpt from an article from Zero Hedge an online news site. It perfectly sums up lefty thinking an hypocrisy - At bottom, extreme leftists do not care about authenticity or honesty. They do not care about logic or rationality. They do not care about being right, they only care about...

    Censorship on the web

Remember this? There was essentially no outrage from the left for this , in fact there was much leftist support for this depiction of our presidents severed head. There was virtually no censorship concerning this. Some but very very little. Can you imagine if a Republican/conservative did this...
