I've got drawn for a Wister 12/3 hunt #19. Completely new duck hunter. Have zero decoys. Spent all my time chasing big game out of state and now transitioning to bird and duck. I can only get out till about 7:30am that morning. Is it even worth it to go down for an hour n half? I think I can bring 2 more guests with myself there. Not sure the rules are if I have to dip out early morning.

I guess I'm just seeing if anyone wants to meet up or has input on the need for decoys.

JW,

Hopefully, by then the place will have dried out some and the next full moon will bring in new birds...The 1st 1 1/2 can be the best, but big ducks like sprig, will many times come back mid day...Also, you're allowed 4 people per reservation (Plus 2 juniors)...I can't remember, if there's any decoys in my trailer, but if there are, you're more than welcome to use them.........

My Buddy hunts there every Wednesday and Saturday and he lives down in the valley. DM me if you want some help.
