My son’s first duck was a drake teal as well. I remember it well. We hunted San Jac and we were in Walker 7 which was a pit blind back then. We finished this season there as well; same blind but no longer a pit.

Oh, and it's in stock in 3 1/2" at my local Bass Pro.

I really appreciate all the feedback. In my searches I came across this ammo. Seems like it gets really positive reviews as well. Anyone hunted with this brand? Veteran owned company out of Mississippi. I like buying USA stuff when I can.

Nice! I'm sold. You say you like going with #9 shot. More pellets means more likely for a lethal head shot?

So, I have this Old Primos Jelly Head .660 that I've used years past for turkey in my Benelli SBEII and with the non-lead law for all Commiefornia hunting I was thinking about options for ammo. I've been looking at possibly going with Browning TSS Tungsten Turkey Shotshells - 12 Gauge - 3.5" -...

The Turkey Tune-Up is just around the corner. Hoping I can make it this time. Missed the last one.

Oh, the birds. Yeah. I was hoping you weren't going to eat the pup!

Well, my son finally broke our 3 year reservation drought by drawing the last hunt day at San Jacinto. We only got out once prior this season doing the sweat-line and literally only took one shot that day. We ended up with six and if we weren't so rusty, could have limited out. It seemed later...

Great to see families getting on it! Good Karma vibes on the shell cleanup. I did the same last day.

I’m a gonna try that Wednesday as nothing else seems to work!

Done!

At least yer huntin'. I'm sitting here on my computer spectating!

Man, AI is really getting good. Those almost look like real ducks!

My daughter graduated from NAU in 2017.

Rockin' the NAU SWAG! Go Lumberjacks! What zone? Nice work!

Murphy with his first and only retrieve. Only got out twice and my second hunt, I never took the safety off. Looking for better ops this coming season.I had to keep him on leash because he would go out to retrieve every time he heard a gun go off, no matter how far away it was!

I was thinking that as well. I put them back exactly as I had found them for that very reason.

I saw a funny meme that showed a picture of a stainless-steel urinal and the copy said, “Elon Musk’s inspiration for the Cybertruck.”

So this is what happens when you leave your decoy spread in C-3 at San Jac and I come along and am doing an editorial shoot on the Tesla Cybertruck and find them! Hey, they made a nice prop for Elon's high school metal shop project going sideways! Don't worry, I put em back where I found...

I saw this. Very cool!
