Ya there are a few sleeper units you can hunt pretty much every year. Definitely not as easy to draw as it was back around 2018 but nothing is.

I mean it was a ton of fun and the guides are a blast. Just not my favorite style of hunting. But I mean definitely the most economical way to get a brown bear right now that's for sure.

it is so annoying when I have to not use a can on a gun now. Had to get the 22CM sighted in for Hawaii "a non can state" next weekend and put the break on it. So dang loud. Makes absolutely no sense that a suppresor would be illegal. Common sense not that common in a few states.

Got the call for an opportunity I couldn't pass up: a depredation-area hunt in Alaska with Barnes, tag allotment of two browns and three blacks. Jet boat in, hunting over bait. Let me be straight — I am NOT built for sitting a blind for 12 hours. That's just not my game. But bottom line? Bears...

ya the camera guy thing on every hunt is still getting hard to get used to. Nothing like waking up in a tent to a camera in your face. It does turn out some great photos and video though.
