My hunting partner from Kauai shot this billy last week in Waimea canyon. This has to be one of the biggest Billy’s ever shot in Hawaii with a bow. 35’ spread shot at 5 yards. He missed this same billy during rifle season then found it during archery season.

I am planning a family trip up north and was wondering if it would be worth it to bring my bow and try fill my AO Tag. Been up there once before near bullards bar reservoir. Any info would be greatly appreciated

Yeah Hawaii is super fun to hunt with a lot of variety. You can hunt pigs, axis deer, blacktail deer, Spanish goats, feral sheep, mouflon sheep, even black buck and they are all wild every island has their own variety of animals.
