Feeling better from the flu shot. Now I’m thinking the reaction was stronger than usual because I’ve been away from normal germs for the past 18 months. So I recommend getting the flu shot to catch back up with the typical antibodies.

The weekend of 8/13-15 fit well in my calendar for some time in the field. So I booked a cabin for wife&I at Lake Henshaw Resort. Will get in a cotton tail hunt (on CNF nearby) and some fishing, in addition to attending the SCH BBQ. Looking forward to that weekend and the hunting seasons to follow.

I’ve seen dog training where they have the pigeons in a large plastic dog crate. Seems like that’s a good method to hold the birds for a day and then transport to the field.

Got this today. Going to test it out at home for a few weeks then it’s going out into the field. It’s big (easily seen). Will put it well off the usual paths to keep it from being stolen.
