Dash starting out his morning with a little crow.

Dash felt like crow first thing this morning so he decided to snatch up 2. The funniest part was the 2nd one. He got it and ran around the yard holding it for about 10min. Then came over and dropped it at my feet..... super proud of him.

Anyone want to take a newbie out?

First off, have any of you ever even just went hiking in that area? if not. Make sure you bring a good day pack that you can carry a fair amount of water. Good hiking boots, and make sure you leave a map of where your going to be hiking.

    Backstraps

I brine mine for 24 hrs. Then make a medium spicy rub. Slow smoke at 225-250. While it's smoking I reduce 2 cups of honey and 1 cup of good maple syrup. After 2 hrs on the smoker I start to lather the turkey with the reduced honey and maple syrup
