I tried this and the family said it was a winner. I put snow goose, teal, widgeon, pintail and gad in the stew.

I have always used stockingfoot, but I know guys that use bootfoot. I think it's really a personal preference. I don't have an issue in the Wister mud with the foot slipping in the stockingfoot.

At the Sat morning check-in it was announced that a blind was closed so they could test the water. A hunters dog did die but apparently couldn't identify a cause of death so to be sure they wanted to rule out the water.
