According to a California Fish and Wildlife Game Warden that I contacted, it is legal to possess and hunt with a crossbow in the Laguna Recreation area if you have a disabled archers permit. Dont take my word for it. Contact a Game Warden like I did.

It IS legal for a person with a disabled archer permit to hunt in the Laguna Recreation area with a crossbow.

You will catch dogs, cats, racoons, skunks and lots of other critters in that trap but I have never seen a coyote caught in one. I have a friend who catches coyotes every day and he says they are too smart to go in one.

Looks like a Merriam to me. I have never seen domestic turkeys fly that well.

I have seen turkeys in the San Bernardino mountains in Deep Creek, Crab Flats. Silverwood Lake area, Onyx Summit, Seven Oaks, sewage treatment plant behind Lake Arrowhead, and Below Big Bear Dam. Keep in mind this was like 20 years ago. There were a lot of turkeys there back then.

This drainage is below Wrightwood. The turkey part is at the end of the video. This bird could have easily come down this drainage from the Wrightwood area.

I heard that turkeys from Lake Silverwood plants made it to Wrightwood. I have also heard reports of turkeys at Irvine Lake and Camp Pendleton which probably came from San Diego.
