They work to fill in your decoy spread. I do not like the tangle free socks as they do not stack or store very well. We switch all of our socks over to the sky fly brand. Store very easy
gonna be a long time for a 2 week period with no covid deaths
a good friend of mine works in a hospital as a trauma nurse and he also works with the cath lab and they are being told to label cause of death as covid even when it is not related.
something going on
Agree things are definitely changing. Where we hunt there is no lack of food or water and there is no shortage of birds. We have birds over us constantly but very few respond to decoys. IMO these birds are over hunted
I find these numbers in the article to be a little off? Sea is losing 1.3 million acre feet per year due to evaporation. Sea hold 7.5 millian acre feet. Based on those numbers the sea would be dry in 6 years
Matt I have so many great memories of Wister and Tule lake. Used to take our ducks and geese into the Mallard at Tule lake for cleaning. I think we paid 1.5-0 or 2.00. Trudy and her mother don't remember her name ran the place. we would always pickup a case of horse radish that they sold there...
we used to hit gaston's for breakfast on our way to union track. our name for the place was choke and puke just an inside joke. it was pretty good at 3:30 in the morning
Steve i would agree those averages are inflated. it is extremely difficult to average 5-6 birds on any refuge. Not to say many did not shoot limits as we did shoot our limits on opening day but we also scouted for 2 days prior and no the area.
