AZ looking for public comment to ban Lion, bears & bobcats

Luckily, almost half the states are now constitutional carry states, with others strengthening their 2A laws...shame the West Coast is so delusional when it comes to firearm ownership. Hopefully the SCOTUS case will make it nationwide

    Big Game Rule Changes Meeting

As one working for a government entity, it strikes me as extraordinarily odd that the item to be discussed is not outlined on the meeting outline. How else are people supposed to know if they want to call to discuss or not, if they have no idea what theyre calling to discuss?! Asinine behavior...

Tags being pulled before season over?

This is why I ordered mine straight from the state. Had an immediate "temporary" one sent to me via email that you could take a picture of and hit the trail. Then the permanent one snail mailed. I trust that over the Big5 guys any day of the week...

    Poor Me

See, I carry my 9mm CCW with me everywhere I go outside the house. Figured I would use that instead of blasting a poor deer from 2 feet away with another .308 (and save some considerable money) but I just keep hating this state more and more...

What other addiction(s) do you have?

I like to bake (even run my own little bakery out of my house for friends and family) and went to pastry school Then there is the usual millennial hobbies - reading, video games, building custom PCs. My unused real estate license expired too, I liked to look at all the property I cant afford...

Curious, are you able to utilize lead ammo for putting down an injured animal (whether you or someone else injured it)?

Headed out for the first time this week

Came new on the Savage Axis. Some guys seem to have it great out of the box, others not so much, seems like it depends on how it was cared for during transit. Some of it was operator error, I am by no means an expert marksman, especially with trigger pull, but even my old man (who was a SWAT...

Headed out for the first time this week

I wish. The scope was horribly attached and "factory bore sighted" Even cranking the MOA 16-20 clicks (which should have been 4-5") it was only moving the round about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. It was a nightmare getting it done.

Looking at things besides animals wirh your scope

I was afraid to open this based solely on the title, thinking you were going to encourage people to use the rifle scope as bino's :joy:

Headed out for the first time this week

Finally, my .308 is out of CA gun jail, the rain has stopped, my new boots have been delivered, and my rifle scope has been zeroed. Picked up the Savage Axis .308 from jail a few days ago, headed promptly to the range down the street from the store with my old man and got her sighted in. Took...
