Hey guys, it's been awhile but I'm still lurking around. I've been busy at home being a dad and all that good stuff. Recently I did take a trip into East TX to spend a few days hunting and exploring. Although the trip didn't go as planned I did make the best I could and ended up with some good...
I got hired to film a hog hunt on that ranch, it was interesting but everyone had a good time. We ate like kings for three days, that was my favorite part.
I'm wanting to spend about a week in and around the Eastern Sierras. Through a bit of research I've been told some of the middle to higher elevations have Snowshoe Hares? Anyone have some boots on the ground experience in that area? Hunting them is on top my bucket list.
The cheapest I've found is Big Horn Ranch, great place and amazing service but it is a high fence type hunting scenario. My experience is the larger the property the more "hunting" the experience will be. If you don't have a bunch of time and want a guaranteed kill ranches are the way to go. If...
Hey everyone, I'm still around and yes I do lurk here on the regular just haven't posted much. I've been busy with my 16month old daughter and that has taken away from much of my hunting time, quality problem for sure. My last trip out I did do some Coyote hunting on a farm where I had luck on...
We still around, I don't post much as I believe the administration thought I was just here to self promote. Still filming and busy with taking care of my 4 month old daughter. Life is good into 2022! Cheers
Hey guys, been awhile since I've posted. I've been doing lots of hunting and filming but haven't been roaming the forums that often. Things are off to a great year, getting married and have a baby due in early September. Few days ago I got out with a buddy of mine to do some night fishing in the...
Hey guys,
Spent some time out in the field filming a few locations with a good friend of mine. Would have liked to film more with this excellent platform but was limited with time. Some Ground Squirrels got hit pretty bad. Most all the shots are beyond 200+ yards. Enjoy
Start early, I usually hunt from high ground and walk/ move slow as possible. Unfortunately you may have some failures before success. My advice if you are using a scope is to keep it set to low magnification.
I'm glad he decided to ask, Unfortunately this may be the results of DFW dumping the follow up class. Think about how many people out there aren't asking these important questions.
Hey guys, been trying to stay as busy as I can. With all the b.s going on it's been difficult to get out. Ended up taking down a Cottontail the other day at 115 yards using my .25 cal with 34gr slug.
We ate well and had a great few days away from home.
Getting mixed direction as far as parts of Fraizer Park area. Regs look as though Kern county is legal but other sources list east of the 5. Any experience welcomed.
For the money the OneTigris Iron Wall with inner liner is pretty good and lightweight. The one thing I like about the Tipi style is it doesn't load up when you have some snow...I've used others that practically cave in from the weight. I'm not a fan of having no floor.. especially during summer...
