    Did some exploring

Ended up having a few days to burn so went camping. The first place I went was terribly hot and had nothing alive other than a Bobcat that's illegal to hunt now. Decided to go visit and old stomping ground, ended up getting a Jackrabbit and found a cool place to camp. Enjoy the footage!

    Short Cottontail/Jack hunt with Marley

Thanks for checking it out you guys, it means a lot. I just got hired to go film an Elk hunt out in AZ so have been trying to practice my camera skills. At the moment I'm out near Tajon Ranch filming a coyote hunt. Writing this from my tent lol

Don't make the same mistake I did and ask if that's her winter weight. Lol

No more hunters Ed follow up class?

My biggest concern is safe gun handling, especially around my dog. I have a feeling much may have been missed and will have to feel it out as we go. I have a feeling this may be a pretty wild deer season lol

    New Air Rifle

Most tanks are 4500, many of the modern higher end guns fill to 3500/4000 psi now. Good high pressure compressor is big money. They do have some affordable ones but they have short lifespan for the most part. These guns can be a financial commitment the deeper you get into using them.

No more hunters Ed follow up class?

Wow, that class had some really critical safety guidance. It's a shame they discontinued that! Good to know, thank you for all the replies.

No more hunters Ed follow up class?

Hope that someone can clarify? Someone I know recently asked if he could tag along on one of my hunts. I asked if he had a hunting license, he said no. I told him he needed to complete hunters Ed. He did the online portion and to my surprise tells me today he got his license. Something sounds...

    New Air Rifle

Lol one that cost twice what the guns worth. It's a Hawke Frontier 2.5-15x50 I primary use it for filming as it gives an excellent picture with the Tactacam. The lower end Vantage model works pretty good, the quality of glass is not as great though. Lots of times guns get paired with scopes and...

    New Air Rifle

Here is another option, I just did a review of this one. It's around $300 and has alot of good features for a PCP. You would obviously need a high pressure pump. I beat the hell out of it as you can see in review.

    New Air Rifle

Most of the guns I use are very high dollar, I would never afford them without sponsorship. You don't need to spend a ton of money to get out and do some hunting with an Airgun. Plenty of gas piston/spring guns available now for a reasonable price. I loved my Benjamin Trail 1100 XL, was a...

    New Air Rifle

Excluding PCP guns a spring or piston gun has almost like a reverse recoil is best I can describe. Many scopes are not built to handle this and can sometimes break. Hawke is a known company that makes "Airgun" rated scopes.

    New Air Rifle

Important to get one that's Airgun rated, Hawke brand is pretty decent and has a working warranty if things go wrong.

    New Air Rifle

That Benjamin Trail is not a bad rifle at all for the money and in .22 should ethically take animals. I would suggest taking some time to break the gun in and get familiar with how it shoots at various distances. Some good quality pellets are a good investment. I prefer using JSB brand and have...

    Prairie Dog Opener

Thanks man, yes I spend more time filming everything than actually hunting. I like bringing others along as it makes the footage more exciting I think. The Tactacam is a great camera and have enjoyed using it. The wide angle is a dedicated Marley Camera lol I still haven't perfected the angle...

    Prairie Dog Opener

Thanks, We ate the Cottontails and I cooked one of the Jack's that Terry got. The other two were turned to hamburger with little left after the little angel of death got her paws on them. Lol
