We hope not, but it could do some damage. Genetics are still going to be great, just a lot of susceptible dumb ones. Maybe lots of 160's will get shot that people will call 180's.
For what it's worth, you can rifle hunt the eastern plains every year during the rut and they still shoot...
Did that on my way in last year, no gobbles and I setup on a tree with birds. Blew them out, but the gobblers hung tight in another tree about 40 yards away. Once fly down hit they followed whatever I blew out of the tree, it makes me think they were hens.
Arent the IV canals fed by the Colorado River? Or connected some how? The Colorado River is loaded with SMB. SMB have been in the IV canals for a long time.
I have caught SMB at Diamond Valley Lake too.
Doctor is right, Stevo!!
Hell yeah buddy, that is a tank!!
As I look at the fish in that picture it doesnt appear to be overly full of eggs. Maybe the picture is bad. Was it spawned out? I just wonder if it would have been larger if full of eggs.
Yeah, Jeff I am not sure he understands what "pay to play" is. He might think MCC is like Big Horn Canyon Ranch or something...
Paying for access is somewhat normal. Even if I don't pay a certain dollar amount for access the landowner still gets some sort of gift from me.
Maybe they were just really early for the afternoon hunt?
9:30 is fairly late after fly down. If it was 7 AM, you might have an argument.
These guys could have already shot a bird early AM and maybe you were in a spot they like to hunt mid morning...
It sounds like these guys maybe didn't...
