I don't know much about divers, couple of people have said the banded bird is a Ring neck. They do look pretty close.

Shot this bird first thing Saturday Morning 11-11-17. Reported it on line and they have no info on it. Looks to be a pretty new band. Hope they send me the info soon.

If I was going to shoot a widgeon, that is the one I would of wanted to shoot! Mounter for sure!

Took my buddy and his 11 year old kid (1st duck hunt) out. Mike is shooting a 12 gauge and put the hurt on the ducks, he held his own and limited before my buddy and I. We shot 18 in the morning and picked up our last 3 in the afternoon. Shot 4 on Sunday morning....real fun opener. Good seeing...
