My motor is a predator 212cc with a mud skipper long shaft kit. it does pretty ok with 2 guys in the boat. pretty much an over sized lawn mower with a 7" prop, equal to a 7HP. you can see the motor in the back ground of my selfie.

here's the area by red hill. a boat is a must. mud is too deep to retrieve a downed bird and in my opinion not to dog friendly. I do see guys there with dogs I just prefer not to let mine go in it.
